mellen & jayne has been working on this endeavor with Pudgies management team since February of 2011, Freshening up the logo, designing new packaging. designing and producing regularly scheduled branded promotions, and Pudgies new look is paying off. New stores have opened in the past year, and more are on the schedule for the coming year.

Pudgie's Famous Chicken, a brand founded two decades ago in Bethpage, L.I., was re-launched last year under new ownership and is now expanding into the five boroughs big time.

The eatery currently has commitments in place for 20 new franchises scattered throughout Brooklyn and
Queens, as well as on Long Island, in the next year.

Aside from new menu items and better management, a key component to the revitalization of a brand's image is
to change the look and focus of marketing and promotional efforts.
